New Balance Field Trip

On Sunday, Debbie R and I went to the New Balance store in Bellevue and got fitted for walking shoes. I got the 760's, the official Susan G. Komen shoe. Pink and black with the ribbon on the side. Feels like you are walking on air. I was under the impression from hiking that thick socks was the way to go... NOT. The girl that helped us was SOOOO knowledgeable she told me the thicker the socks the more blisters due to hot spots. So I let go of my concepts and embraced hers. Thin socks it will be. They also have lots of jackets, tops, shorts and accessories to go along with the shoes. Remember, if you are walker you get 10% off ALL goodies. So don’t wait good shoes is the key to walking 60 miles, without feet issues. So…better get back to work !
