One person is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes in the United States. This statistic represents our courageous co-worker, who 5 months ago at the age of 25 was diagnosed with cancer and is now a survivor & a true warrior in our eyes, for our co-worker's mother who was diagnosed in 1999 and has been a survivor for 10 years, our General Manager's aunt who just received her diagnoses & all the other mothers, sisters, aunts, daughters, friends, and loved ones that have been diagnosed with cancer. In honor of these women we are lacing up our tennis shoes and starting a journey of hope. Our hope and prayer is that one day breast cancer will be a thing of the past. We are committing ourselves to the Seattle 3-Day, 60 mile journey in the fight against breast cancer with a goal of raising $15,000. We are asking that every person that visits our page Donate just $8, representing the 1 in 8 women in the United States that will experience a breast cancer diagnosis. Of course we welcome any amount of donation to help us reach our goal, so follow our progress and see how our journey unfolds.
