Next Fundraising Event: The Pink Ribbon Yard Sale!

The 3-day walk is just around the corner and things are picking up fast! One team member has already had her first big fundraiser, bringing in over $600 in donations from her hamburger/hot dog feed and silent auction! All of our team members and support people are working hard, training, and bringing in those much appreciated donations! Thank you everybody!

Mark your calendars! Friday August 20th and Saturday August 21st we will be having a humongous "Pink Ribbon" Yard Sale in the parking lot of the WayPoint Church located on the beautiful Key Peninsula! Donations of gently used items have been pouring in and I now have two garages full of items to sell, with all proceeds going towards the Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cure! The grandkids will also be running a pink lemonade stand at the sale and we will have many of our breast cancer awareness jewelry, hats and other paraphernalia available for purchase. The WayPoint Church is located at 12719 134th Avenue KPN, Gig Harbor, WA 98329 . Sale hours: 9am-4pm

My daughter, Fantasy, one of our Healing Properties support people, has also sent out a wave of "Tea Party" invites (tea bag enclosed) asking people to take a peaceful moment to reflect upon the many beautiful women who have touched our lives, and those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. The invite also shares information about our team, why we are walking, how to follow our progress, how to make a donation, and information about the upcoming yard sale. In addition, she is also slaving in the kitchen, whipping up batches of pastries to sell at a local espresso stand over the next several weekends.
